*8:30 am -Bowling for Access- Presented by Sharon Massey.  Using TAS, ADA, and ANSI A117.1 identify and review applicable laws and rules and how they apply to a plan review of a bowling and multi-function recreational facility, be able to identify unacceptable elements and determine if a response is required. *10:30-11:30 -Safe Harbor Concepts-Presented by Marcela Rhoads.  This session will cover when and how the safe harbor provisions found in the 2010 ADA regulations apply to elements built prior to March 15, 2012.  TDLR#16317 1CE, AIA CES APA 178 1 LU/HSW, ICC #9982 .1 CEU, ACTCP Elective (1 credit)

*12:00pm-1pm-Tech Talk: Advance Level- presented by Carroll Pruitt, Marcela Rhoads, Sharon Massey. Round Table Discussion of FAQ's with APA colleagues: discuss, ask for clarification, and submit new FAQ's. RAQ's range from toilet rooms and shower spray units to Site Arrival and Path of Travel. TDLR #16325 1 CE, AIA/CES APA 175 1LU/HSW, ICC #9841 .01 CEU, ACTCP Elective (1 credit)

#1pm-3pm- TDLR Technical Memorandum Overview- Panel Marcela Rhoads, Carroll Pruitt.

#3pm-5pm Standards for Accessible Design, 2012 Texas Accessibility Standards and the 2003 International Building Code Requirements for Accessible Means of Egress-Presented by Carroll Pruitt.  We will study Accessible Means of Egress as required by the 2012 TAS and the 2010 ADA Standards.  A brief overview of the 2003 IBC Means of Egress will be provided as necessary to understand the requirements of Accessible Means of Egress.
