APA-ADA Specialist Program
APA-ADA Specialist Program
Previously, the Accessibility Professionals Association (APA) awarded the "APA Specialist" designation to individuals who attended specific APA training and passed a written test. However, APA will no longer be offering new APA Specialist designations.
Instead,
APA has developed the
APA Certification Program (APAC)
. APA will be offering testing for APA Certification for the first time at the
2023 APA National Conference
.
Going forward, APA will offer the APA Certification exam rather than the APA Specialist designation exam.

mbers who previously received APA Specialist designations may continue to market this designation and will continue to receive recognition of this accomplishment on the APA website.
For all designations to remain valid, you must maintain active APA Membership.
